Quick oil sketch on paper, painting on paper is not the same as on canvas, the oil paint dries much more quickly as it’s been absorbed by it, even though the paper’s been primed with gesso.
The final result looks more like an acrylic painting actually, its interesting how different surfaces respond to paint and vice versa.
The image you see was the taken with my phone, while the painting was still on the easel, I duck tape the edges so the paper is firmly fixed on the board.
